The location is great with everything within easy reach. Breakfast was also great, with a good variety of options, and the staff were helpful when approached, though not particularly friendly or welcoming.
Check-in was the biggest letdown. While the lady at the reception was polite, it was frustrating to wait such a long time—especially at 9:30 PM with a child—while she trained a new staff member on how to use the booking system, process payments, etc. We had to eventually speak up and let her know we had been waiting too long and needed to settle in.
The room itself was okay, but cleanliness was an issue. The bathroom, in particular, was not up to standard—we found hairs in several places, which was disappointing.
Also worth noting: if your room faces the street, expect a noisy night. Teenagers were shouting and making noise well past midnight, making sleep difficult. Lastly, it would be nice if the hotel provided at least a bottle or two of water in the fridge—just some basic touches that make a stay more comfortable.
