My stay at the La Quinta Inn was extremely disappointing and did not meet even the most basic expectations for a hotel room. From the moment I tried to use the room amenities, it became clear that maintenance and quality control were lacking.
The most frustrating issue was that the shower had no hot water. After a long day, being unable to take a hot shower is unacceptable and made the stay very uncomfortable. In addition, the lamps in the room were missing the screws that hold the lamp shades in place, which caused the shades to constantly fall off and made the lamps difficult to use.
The iron provided in the room was also broken and leaking water, making it unusable and potentially damaging to clothing. On top of that, the curtains had visible holes in them, which made the room look worn and poorly maintained.
Overall, the condition of the room gave the impression that basic upkeep and inspections are not being properly handled. Guests should be able to rely on simple things like working hot water and functional room equipment.
Because of these multiple issues and the inconvenience they caused, I would like to request a full refund for this stay. The experience did not meet the standard that should be expected from a hotel.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend staying at this location.
