We were arriving late and were driving in from a place with no internet service, so we wanted to call to confirm our reservation. No one answered the phone at the hotel, so we called the IHG main number. They said they couldnāt see our reservation and wanted to charge us for a second room āto be sureā at a cost of $65 more per night. We didnāt want to do that. Thankfully, finally the hotel answered the phone and confirmed our reservation.
The hotel was clean and comfortable until about 7:30 am when the vacuuming, custodians door knocking room by room, and room cleaning began. Since we had a late arrival and check out isnāt until noon, we had hoped to sleep in longer.
