Bed was comfortable, the breakfast was not great, the pool was nice for my three young kids. Only 2 luggage carts. Used one to come in but couldnā€™t find one to help get bags back to the car when we left.

Manage your expectations

If you're looking for an inexpensive bed & shower, this is it. If you need wifi, tv, and protein with breakfast, this isn't the place to stay. Internet here is known to be spotty (which is describing it kindly- for us it was up for 3 minutes every few hours). According to the desk clerk this is typical (so don't buy the internet upgrade - it doesnā€™t help) and the 5G cell service in this area is poor. The TV frequently got a frozen picture and said 'searching' - we gave up. On the plus side, we were entertained at breakfast by the 2 female desk clerks complaining about their jobs tho, so I can't say there wasn't any entertainment. I asked for a knife so I could eat my waffle, but it never came so I ended up tearing the waffle into pieces and eating it with my fingers. The only protein they had was hard-boiled eggs, which I suspect were home-boiled because they were super dry and had green yolks. The hot tub was decent - about half the jets work... try to not mind the yellow-tinged water (not exaggerating). Guest laundry is out of order and looks like it has been for a while. Sorry to sound harsh - I'm not usually a complainer - but we stayed here having expectations that did not at all match our experience. This IS the most reasonably priced spot in the area, and its full most nights.... if all you want is a bed and a shower - this is GREAT for that. But if you're looking for wifi & breakfast, I don't recommend it (sorry!).

High cost for very disappointing stay!

This was a very dated and below par hotel! The owners must not care about the way they present themselves and itā€™s apparent that they do not put money into basic upkeep for their customers. We will not stay here again!!

Great hotel, amazing restaurant

It is a lovely hotel, clean and comfortable. Our favorite part was their AMAZING restaurant. We had whitefish and ribs one night, and Lake perch another, with wild rice. Delicious!

Could use work for sure but it was okay

Upon getting to the hotel the lady at the front desk was nice and greeted us explained the breakfast times and checkout time everything was fine. We drive to the other side of the building I helped my 3 young kids out of the car and grabbed a couple bags to bring in, we got to the room and no matter what we did the keys didnt work so I had to drive back around and tell the lady they dont work she asked if I tried going slowly I said yes even had my daughter try and nothing worked she goes yeah you need to go super slow but heres new keys and told me shed meet me at the room to make sure we got in. Finally it worked but you guessed it once again the keys didnt work in fact I booked a stay for 3 days NONE OF THE DAYS WE WERE THERE THE KEYS WORKED MORE THAN ONE SINGLE TIME. In fact I had seen a man working the desk at night and I said this is the 3rd time I've needed to get another key made this is getting to be ridiculous his response was "yeah well when I started here this place was like a 3 start hotel now it's a 2 but heres another key sorry" It was super inconvenient and frustrating especially being out all day doing things with the kids and lots of driving to come back to the room to find the door key doesnt work. Breakfast was ok could be better and couldve had some more options, the waffles were pretty good except there was only 1 machine working due to the overnignt staff being too lazy to clean it so they stuck a out of order sign on it so nobody uses it.

Stay somewhere else

The pictures found online do not match what you see in person. The rooms are dark and probably havenā€™t been updated since the 90ā€™s. Minimal outlets, and no USB ports to be found. The front desk receptionist also cared for the breakfast area which did not work in anyoneā€™s favor. Many other people I spoke to at breakfast time had issues as well- promised an ADA room and it wasnā€™t, promised connecting rooms and none available. The only plus- was no bugs as far as I could tell. This hotel needs a total overhaul starting with owner/management
