Our check-in after 10 1/2 hours of travel was filled with hospitality. Christina (sp) was welcoming and informative. Each room was comfortable because they were clean and welcoming with the window coverings open. Excellent room view. The pool, although not the season, is open and available for sitting around. Locked doors are a plus. The breakfast is appropriate for "continental." I can not remember the spelling of the kind soul who greeted us each morning, and anytime she saw you on site, with sincere hospitality as if we were in her home. Thank you, my dear. We appreciate you. Sandy, in housekeeping, was most pleasant, funny, and did a great job in sprucing up the place. I would mention that although I don't recall everyone's name, all staff showed that southern hospitality, as it should be. Respect.
This location is advertised to be "No Pets" with this posted online, as well as there being a front desk placard. There were two sightings of "service dogs" in sweaters, featching and sniffing legs on site. Not service animals, and I am so disgusted that this is allowed. There is a real need for such. You're causing bias. I am not happy with this as there are allergies to pets in my party. This was mentioned to the front desk, who "heard" my grievance but mentioned that she had brought this to the attention of management and was disregarded. Our travel companion will be going to the allergist.
I have asked that management reach out to me.
