Front desk (with the exception of manager āJessicaā) and housekeeping were terrific. Manager claims to have called our room in response to a reasonable request for a room change on a two day stay. However, my wife never left the room on the second day of our visit.
As importantly, the carpeting in our room was riddled with mildew as a result of age and substandard ac system.
Although, weāve been loyal to the Hamilton Inn By Hilton Brand - this franchised property needs overdue attention. Regrettably and surprisingly, management does not appear to be interested in pragmatically safeguarding Hiltonās brand integrity - despite having the opportunity to do so.
Naturally, the world does not revolve around us and do not ever expect any special treatment. However, this experience has reminded us to seriously consider experimenting with a competing brand.
