I can honestly say this is a downgrade from my previous experiences with SpringHill suites and SpringHill suites by Marriott. As a bonvoy member, I would expect to be greeted a little more pleasantly, given Wi-Fi information, giving information about when the pool would be open versus when it's locked, so you can't use it. The younger women at the desk this evening were more interested in their cell phones and personal things going on than they were checking in guest and being friendly. When I ask about when the pool would open up, I was told "sometime" & I then asked are we just guessing?! Like is there not a specific time? It's open and closed? I was told "aybe sometime between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. but that just depends on when they get here cause I don't know nothing about pool hours." I specifically had instructions on my account and called and verified those instructions with the property that stated I'm a light sleeper and so I like to have a room that is not next to the elevator or vending area. Guess what?! They were going to put me in a room exactly the opposite of what I asked for and right next to the elevator and vending ice machine. So I had to ask, did you read the notes on my account and she told me no. We can't see any notes on your account. When I asked for an itemized receipt because I booked and have to turn this in for work, I was told that I'd have to go download it myself at a later date since I booked with Expedia. This is not it.
