Well located in the centre of town, with easy access to shops and eateries (although subject to some night-lie noise). Reception was efficient and friendly. Our double room on the first floor was no better than average; although clean, the overall feel of the corridors and room was rather tired, with scuffed paintwork, stained carpets and uneven laminate.
The room size was fine, with a small TV, coffee making facilities and a decent sized bathroom. However, the bath panel was cracked, paintwork shabby, dripping tap, shower controls that didn't work, stained sink and bath-tub and an erratic toilet flush (towels were nice, though!)
Breakfast was excellent, with a well stocked buffet of hot food, juices, fruit and pastries, with friendly service and the option to have freshly cooked poached or fried eggs (in addition to the scrambled eggs on the buffet).
So, to summarise:
Pro's: friendly staff, on-site parking, breakfast, location
Cons : tired decor, sub-standard bathroom
