While this hotel was convenient to the venue/event we went to in CT, we were kind of underwhelmed with the total hotel experience. As we arrived we were told that the elevator was out of service. There was an offer to assist with our luggage, but not a good start. Then we were told a 100.00 hold on our credit card was in place until we checked out. The key cards worked at first, but when we left to go to our event, when we returned they did not. We were told not to put them in the same pocket with our phones....??? Finally when we checked out, when I asked for a receipt I was told since I booked through Expedia, they would send me the receipt....??? To be honest until I get my CC bill I am not sure what i paid. On the bright side, the room was clean and neat and the breakfast was fine....the usual buffet hotel breakfast. We were only there one night. If we had to stay longer we probably would have looked for an upgrade.
