From start to finish it was bad. Hotel is “dog friendly” booked a superior room and a junior suite. Was told that dogs can only stay in standard rooms however we could stay in the superior room but not the suite….which is weird because if you can change the rules for one room, why not the other.
Bed in the room was completely passed its best. Both myself and my wife found the bed incredibly hard and sunken and the pillows like bricks. Asked for more pillows but was told none were available.
On Sunday the restaurant serves brunch until 1145 but guests must finish breakfast by 10, as the kitchen was closing. Not sure how it could close whilst offering the same dishes until 1145.
After such a disappointment we just wanted to leave. The trainee assistant manager was very proactive in allowing us to checkout early without charge for second night.
Hotels.com promised to speak to the manager when she started at 3pm local time but made no attempt to do so, which as a platinum member was very disappointing but it’s not the first time that they have pulled this stunt. So, still waiting for a partial refund for the first night.
I have stayed at this hotel many times and worn out beds is not acceptable and having no spare pillows is just a poor excuse
