I booked a one-night stay at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The hotel is located within a plaza that includes a Ralphs and several other businesses. However, the only parking option offered is valet at $48 per night. We were advised to either use valet or take our chances with street parking, which felt inconvenient and unexpected.
Additionally, we were informed that because we booked through a third-party site and were charged a deposit fee, we would receive two complimentary drink vouchers. We never received the vouchers at check-in, and when we attempted to redeem the drinks, we were told there was no record of them on our reservation. Fortunately, the front desk staff member (a young woman with cute nails) working the night shift was kind enough to help resolve the issue.
We were also told the bar would be open until 11:00 PM. When we went down around 8:30 PM, the bar was already closed, which was frustrating.
Overall, the hotel itself has a nice aesthetic, and the room was clean with functioning heat and AC. However, the lack of clear communication, unexpected fees, and inconsistent service made the stay underwhelming. The room could also use better lighting. I expected a more polished and accommodating experience for the price and reviews.
Big shoutout to the young, ginger man working the mid-day shift, the young woman working the night shift, and the two men working valet.
