The whole problem was the night clerk (2/17) who took her time opening the inside door after seeing us drive up, then did not say one word to us (including interducing self) until she asked for what town we live in. We stood infront of the desk for more than 8 minutes (after driving 9 hour: we are both over 70), with out another word from her until I asked if there was a problem. She proceeded to tell us that our payment had been cancelled because we did not check in soon enough (the website states 7AM, it was now 4AM). She became very indignant when I aked why that occurred and to just get the pre-paid reserved room keys so we could lay down, She abruptly stated "I'm tired of this. You know, I'm cancelling your reseervation all together. Go somewhere else." We have NEVER been treated so rudely despite having traveled across the US and overseas. We certainly will never stop at that Comort Suites again and encourage others to boycott it until things change and we recieve a formal apology, especially my husband who is a Veteran. By the Way, we were welcomed at the Country Inn and Suites across the road and even were given a "welcome" gift! So, which hotel would you stay at???
