The resort itself was gated and secure, convenient to shopping and close to where our granddaughter was at Give Kids the World. It appeared to be well maintained, however our individual unit was not. Other than newish flooring in the upstairs bedrooms, the unit was in need of some updating. Also, it looked like it had not been used recently - carpeted areas were not vacuumed and floor around night stands had wrappers and various debris that had not been cleared. There was mildew on the shower head, the windows in the bathroom and in the toilet bowl and the seats were loose and sliding. Blinds in bedrooms were very old, not functioning properly and missing slats. We called to have maintenance do a repair during our stay, but for some reason no one was ever able to keep an appointment to do so. James at the front desk was helpful, but when our door code never arrived 2 hours prior to check-in, we had to make contact and wait for someone off-site to give us the info we needed to gain access.
