Stayed at hotel recently and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience.
On arrival, basic amenities were missing. There was no shower gel in the shower and no hand soap in the bathroom, both containers completely empty, with the box of tissues also empty…. Nothing had been refilled. Small touches you would expect as standard, such as biscuits and hot chocolate, were also not provided…. Again was told they should have been and had not been added by house cleaning. The extra duvet for the spare bed was tiny; we asked for another, but it never arrived.
Breakfast was frustrating on both mornings. I asked specifically for runny eggs and they were hard each time. The overall food quality wasn’t great, and the service in both the bar and restaurant was very slow. To make matters worse, the hotel seemed to be completely out of bottled water. The vending machines were you could purchase bottles was also out of order.
The gym and pool were nice and probably the highlight of the stay.
Overall, very disappointing. The manager said she would be in contact following our stay, but we’ve still had no email correspondence 48 hours later. Not the level of service we expected. ⭐⭐
