The hotel itself and most of the staff are excellent, but I faced an issue upon check in, which I really didn’t appreciate. Despite having a reservation confirmation with me and my booking showing in the App, the staff at the reception counter said he couldn’t see my reservation. I understand that IT glitches can happen, but the staff could obviously see it was an IT error given he could himself witness that I had a reservation. Instead of trying to help, he just said I had to sort this out myself. He would not call the booking agent despite they have direct access for hotels and they are suppose to be the professionals to deal with these kind of issues as it’s probably not uncommon. Instead I had to sort this out myself. It took about 1.5 hour and eventually I go my reservation. That’s not the attitude I expect.
Aside, they also take a deposit and give you a voucher. I am fine with that, but upon check out they say it will take 1 month to credit back. Sorry but that’s not ok. I am busy and I will not remember in one month whether it was credited back or not, and no I don’t blindly trust them or the system.
