We stayed here last year and had such a good stay we returned.
This time it was completely different!
Breakfast food had sat under lights for hours so most of it was congealed and the bacon was so dried up it was inedible as were the eggs.
The barman who served us wine was really cocky and unpleasant. The Pinot Grigio was really cheap and nasty. We heard other guests complaining about the rose as well.
The room was really tiny so there was a small hanging space but nowhere to put any other clothes. Spent the weekend having to leave everything in the suitcase and hide that under the desk so you didn’t trip over it walking to the bathroom.
However, the overnight cleaning was very well done, the staff at reception were pleasant and the views of the pool from the bar area are very nice, as are the views of the river from the dining area.
