I arrived early in the morning. It was too early to get the room. So I just checked in and left my luggage in the locked luggage room. The staff kindly told me that I would get the key to the room when I returned in the evening. However, when I returned in the evening, the door was locked and nobody was there. The email I received confirming my reservation gave no information about closing times or entry rules. Another guest with the key opened the door and I was able to enter, only to find that no one was there and that my luggage was locked in the luggage room. Knowing that the breakfast room was shared with the nearby Tulip Hotel, I went there to ask for help. The staff replied in a very rude manner that I should know that the Vic Hotel is a self-service hotel. I had not read any information about this when I booked and I wondered how I could get in without a key. However, one of the staff came to the VIC, opened the door to the luggage room and gave me the key. The room was very dark, with not enough light. So: bad information, bad organisation, too high a price for such a non-existent service. All in all a pretty bad experience.
