Clean bedding and towels fortunately but overall cleanliness of the room was disappointing. Dirty walls, room was smelly. Good water pressure. Property was neglected with overgrown weeds in garden beds.

Disappointing Stay ā€“ Poor Facilities and Cleanline

Big no from my side. The AC was completely useless, and even after requesting a regular fan, the staff failed to provide one. The room was not clean ā€” the curtains were dirty and even torn. Very disappointing experience overall.

Room was like a sauna! Stains everywhere!

Room was hotter than hell when we got there after 6 hours on the road and at almost midnight. The man at the desk offered a box fan. It wasnt until morning when the room was actually cold enough to turn the air up. The bedding was filthy. Stains all over. Breakfast is a joke. Im frugal and have been to many budget hotels. This has got to be the worst!

Check-in was great! The room wasn't as clean as i would have liked. We had a cooler from thr car and as i was putting food into the fridge and freezer, there was a bowl od ice cream left by another guest. I don't know how long it had been there. That was off-putting.

Bad hotel

We arrived at about 9-9:30 PM. It was still warm outside and the room was very warm. We tried to turn on the air conditioner on and couldn't. Went down to the desk and told them and he came up and said it needed to be reset. When it started it smelled terrible. We let it run for about 30 minutes and still wasn't that cool. The manager brought us up a fan to help get it cool. it ran all night. Why can't they get the room cool befor you arrive?? the room was not clean at all, stains on the rug, and a bug on the bed.

The room was adequate for what I needed. This is by far not a luxury hotel and the location is a little run down with an abandoned hotel next to it but it is conveniently placed right off the highway for a quick stay when needed.

Very dirty. Switched rooms due to dirty sheets. Next room had dirty sheets, dirty carpet, and smelled like smoke. Ended up leaving due to how dirty the rooms were. Staff was friendly and provided a refund without any issues.

Literally the most disgusting place I have ever stayed!! Had to make three trips to the front desk at 1am when we checked in due to a number of issues and had to switch rooms! This place is .5 star at best!!

Bedbugs

My daughter ended up with bedbug bites after our trip, even after careful inspection of the beds and surrounding area of the beds. The room appeared clean however smelled of menā€™s cologne all weekend, and the pullout couch was disgusting. We did not use it, but it was disgusting.

I think all hotels should be required to post updated photos to truly depict the state of property currently and not those old photos when it was first built. This property needs major renovations. I had to come to the front desk and show photos of my room to ensure I wasnā€™t held liable for the holes in the wall. I guess that was the reason the price was it was.

Pros and cons

This was just a one night stay with a late night arrival. Pros: Check in was fast and without hassle. The room was fine for our needs as we went to bed right away and planned to leave by 8:30am. No pests in the room that we noticed. Cons: only three cars in the lot but room we were assigned should have been in better condition (the deadbolt didnā€™t exactly line up so had to put pressure from below the door to lift it so the deadbolt would work, carpet stains, toilet didnā€™t flush so I had to fix it). I imagine the other rooms are worse then if this is one of the rooms they would rather give to guests? All of this I can deal with. For me the real red flag was the breakfast area. So many fruit flies by the food (in the bread and in the nozzle of the juice machine). The waffle we made came out tasting sour. That has never happened before. Ended up just going somewhere else for bfast. My advice is donā€™t offer breakfast if you arenā€™t going to make it sanitary. We arenā€™t picky and know that we arenā€™t paying for a luxury experience. But if you offer breakfast, thatā€™s part of the calculation when choosing to book with you. So I expect that I wonā€™t be needing to get breakfast elsewhere for me and my kids. Again for what I absolutely needed (a place to crash before I continued a long drive), it was fine. But the red flag of bugs in the eating area make me concerned about what might have gone unnoticed in my room. I mean no disrespect and wish the owners well.
