I have more problems here than I’ve had at any other hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve stayed at many, from two star to five star. Check-in smooth. I booked a 2 night stay with 2 rooms. We weren’t going to make it the first night so I called to let them know we would be checking in morning of 2nd day. We checked in into two rooms second morning no problem. They ran my card 2x for 2 different rooms. Gave us 2 sets of diff room keys. Since close to event time, we just went to my room and dropped all our stuff there, didn’t go to second room until after event.
room smelled like smoke. gross. no sheets for pullout bed … after long day out had to go down to front desk to pick up. Two other people had to do same thing… that’s awful. You should have a set upstairs ready or bring them up or tell me at check in that I have to do that & I would’ve done it before bedtime. Loud road noise at 10p.
After event, my mom went to her room. key didn’t work. Got a new key that didn’t work either. maintenance guy tried to let her into room, but it was locked from INSIDE, bc there are OTHER people in her room.
We talk with front desk for 30-40 minutes bc they’re telling me I don’t have a 2nd room. “never checked in for 2nd room” tho I did check in 2x, paid ridiculous $$$ for 2 rooms, 2 nights. Finally figured out they checked us into someone else’s room at check-in! At checkout, they promised points for bad experience. I’d rather a comped night, & surprise, no points were ever given.
