My original room had two double beds and a sofa bed. Unfortunately, it also had roaches. I saw one an hour after check in (3/12) and took care of it myself. The following morning before going to my activities there was another roach on the tile floor. I smashed it in a tissue and took it to the front desk on my way out for the day to request another room (3/13). They informed me that another room of the same type was unavailable and that my room would be downgraded. I said okay, but I expect to be compensated. We were switched to a standard double bed room for the following night. During checkout(3/14), I inquired as to how much of a refund to expect and was informed the price difference was roughly $47. I said that doesn't cover the roach issue. I called on 3/17 and asked for the general manager's number, but the hotel attendant refused me and instead took my number for a return call. I have still not received a call nor any partial refund of funds not even the $47 (3/22). Additionally, I message the hotel through the hotels.Com app on 4/20 with no response.
