Honestly, I’m gonna start off by saying that my friend and I were really looking forward to staying at this hotel. From reading all the reviews, we expected a great stay—but what awaited us at this resort left me wishing I had never stayed there, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
To briefly summarize:
Good: Housekeeping staff are kind, breakfast is great, and the resort is relatively clean.
Cons: All the “in-room amenities” like slippers, pillows, and blankets are outdated, with yellow stains. Reception is the worst I’ve ever experienced.
Now, Day 1: we arrive at the resort, and right off the bat, the guy at reception is ridiculously rude—just passive-aggressive for no reason. We arrived a little early and asked whether we could check in early. He immediately said “no” without even checking whether the rooms were ready. My friend and I let it go.
We came back at 3 PM, checked in, and left our stuff before heading out for a walk for about two hours. When we returned, the room was insanely humid—the blankets, pillows, and bedding were fully damp, our clothes in the suitcases were moist, and even my passport in my bag had started to wrinkle. We immediately called reception, and they sent housekeeping to change the bedding.
The housekeeping guy came and started changing one bed, but we stopped him because we realized the AC wasn’t working properly—so having him change both beds only for them to get damp again in ten minutes made no sense. The housekeeping staff also no
