We requested an early check-in for 2:00 PM and understood that it could not be guaranteed but charging $50 extra to check in when there was no one on property when we arrived seemed a little silly especially for a contactless check in and no staff available.
The pools were also closed, and guests were not allowed into the pool area at all. To their credit, the resort fee was refunded. Unfortunately, the ice machines were also out of service during our stay.
The rooms were a decent size, but they lacked basic furnishings such as a dresser or table, which made it difficult to comfortably store clothes, food, or other personal items.
