I booked a room with a tub, but apparently there are zero tubs in the entire building.
I asked the manager for a late checkout, as I am a first responder for Oklahoma City, and the woman said that she would check with the building manager for me. A couple of hours later, the front desk woman/manager says that HER manager says that it is NOT possible for me to check out at noon, instead of 11a.
I was pretty disappointed and irritated, as someone whoās been to this hotel, as a first responder who works overnights (4p-4a), that she denied me only one extra hour to sleep in, and blamed it on HER boss, who clearly had no idea what I was even talking about. If it was her callā¦she certainly couldāve told me at the time that I requested it, but she said that she would have to contact someone else.
Once I asked her (in front of a big manager or maybe owner⦠she tried to say she never told me that it was someone elseās call. She DEFINITELY told me that she would need to ask her supervisor. But Iām still not sure why she passed the blame, once I tried to ask HER SUPERVISORā¦
I do NOT like being lied to, and I ESPECIALLY donāt appreciate being gaslit, as if she didnāt JUST tell me that she would have to check with her supervisor & look at the reservations on Monday (9/9/25) to see if it would be an issue, just to tell me (in front of her boss) that she never told me that.
The beds are okay enough, but I wouldnāt recommend staying here.
