When I checked in I was given a room for a wheelchair and I explained that my nephew just became a quadriplegic, so I wasn’t comfortable staying in that room.
The hotel said that it wasn’t them that it was Hotels.com that made the mistake, so they gave me a hearing impaired room, and charged me an extra $20 a night.
I showed them my receipt that I got from Hotels.com to show them that it didn’t say it anywhere on the paperwork, but they insisted that it was not their fault, because I used a 3rd party to book they still charged me even though I have Hilton Honors.
I teach thousands of students, so I will let them know through my social media platform.
