Overall, this stay was okay, with some positives and a few things that didn’t match the price.
The staff was very friendly, and the location is excellent — right next to Settlers Green outlets and close to plenty of restaurants, which made everything really convenient. The room was spacious, and while it was clearly dated, it was reasonably clean. That said, it wasn’t spotless — there were stains on the sheets, which definitely took away from the comfort level.
The lobby was actually my favorite part of the hotel. Sitting by the fireplace late at night with a drink was a great atmosphere. The pool area was fun, especially if you have kids, and the free breakfast was about what you’d expect — similar to most standard hotel continental breakfasts.
My biggest issue was the price. I paid $175 for two queen beds on a Saturday night in January, and for that rate, I expected better overall condition and cleanliness. There are other hotels in the $75–$125 range with similar amenities that feel like a better value.
