We stayed at the Landmark Resort, Room 1246 in Myrtle Beach and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. From the start, our room was not ready at the promised check-in time, which was frustrating after a long day of travel.
The unit itself was very outdated — the furniture and kitchen appliances were worn and far from what was shown online. The photos and descriptions made it seem much more modern than it actually was.
The pool area, which was the main reason for choosing this resort, was not well maintained. The area was dirty, and the fountain in the middle of the pool wasn't working, which took away from the relaxing atmosphere we were hoping for. The hotel was in bad shape. Windows dirty and broken, The elevators didn’t work half the time, the ice machine didn't work and as we were checking out the elevators to the garage was broke down.
So don't be fooled by the pictures you see advitised check out my attached for the real deal.
We tried to make the best of our trip, but overall, the experience was disappointing. I hope the resort management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary updates to ensure a better experience for future guests.
