Run-down hotel
This is the first all inclusive resort I stayed at where there is a food menu with limited options: one appetizer option, one dessert option. Dinner: choice 1 fish, 1 meat and 1 chicken. First night we had dinner, my husband ordered the only fish - salmon and it was all gone and I ordered the only appetizer soup and that was done too. We were upset so they were able to find another fish to make for us. Dessert was cheesecake that none of my family ate so we didn’t get dessert. Second night we didn’t eat at the resort. Third night, again very limited options.
The bathrooms were dirty and in the second bedroom stains were in the toilet which was extremely disgusting. Soap nor shampoo was in the second bathroom. My son didn’t even want to stay at the hotel and left one of the nights. This was very disappointing especially after spending so much money.
Only one restaurant is operational and not three as advertised. Also, gym is different than pictures on the website. The equipment was dirty, old and rusty.
The service was exceptional. The people were friendly and tried to accommodate us. It took me awhile to write this review because it is no way a reflection of the employees. They were fantastic. It’s a shame that this is a run-down place.
