The location is excellent, but unfortunately the service fell short.
The staff seemed overwhelmed. When we arrived, no one was present at the valet stand, so we had no idea what to do with all our luggage. The front desk staff didn’t seem concerned, and when I asked how the valet worked, the woman there simply said I could leave the car key.
They also advised reaching out 15 minutes before departure and provided a text message number for any questions. So I requested the car through text message, but there were no replies. No one answered the in-room phone, and even after calling from my cell phone for 20 minutes, no one picked up. I ultimately had to go to the front desk myself. After trying for over 30 minutes, I finally received my car. Heaven and Megan were wonderful, but the other staff member I encountered was very unfriendly.
I booked a Grand Room, Sea View (King) because it was supposed to be more spacious than the balcony sea-view option. However, the room was on the 1st floor, and the street noise was extremely disruptive—especially the garbage truck, which was out front for nearly two hours on both Saturday and Sunday starting at 6 a.m.
I truly hope they improve the overall service, as the property itself is so lovely.
