The stay would have been fine, but it was marred by too many minor issues. I traveled to Laughlin to meet a friend for a special occasion and took a bottle of Champagne to dinner at The Gourmet Room. The server had no idea how to open or properly serve Champagne. The door latch to my room stuck and I had to struggle to get in. At 4:15 this morning I was awakened by a call from the desk saying someone "thought they heard running water" in my room. There was no running water. When I arrived I asked for advice on parking that would be close to my room and was essentially told to park anywhere. When I went out to my car this morning I found it in cordoned off area with a notice it had to be moved. I could easily ignore any one of these issues, perhaps excepting the early morning phone call, but so many problems in a stay of less than 24 hours suggest a property in need of work on maintenance and customer service.
