We arrived at the hotel at 4:15, and our room was not ready. The front desk agent asked if we needed the two queen beds (as opposed to two double beds) we reserved, and I said yes we needed queen size beds. She apologized and said there was not a room with the queen beds cleaned yet. We could either have a double beds room or she could text me when our room was ready, and offered us a generous credit we could use on the hotel property. We were fine with that (since we needed the bigger beds). We checked our bags with the bell hop, and walked around Times Square for a little while. The room was ready within an hour, so we went up to the room and it was a big room (by NYC standards), clean, smelled great, and was comfortable. The cleaning staff did a great job every day.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Great location (2 minute walk to Port Authority, which was the drop off location for our Uber Shuttle from JFK), felt safe around the hotel, easy access to the subway. Would stay at Westin Times Square again, no hesitation.
