The room was clean and spacious, bed very comfortable. Kitchenette was well stocked and convenient. The balcony was nice and had a great view. Location is excellent, direct access to the beach walk. Pool is clean and pretty.
Staff is very friendly, the restaurant is great (though I only ate there once and just had soup).
The only downside is the door to my room did not really lock, there was just a simple push-button mechanism, and the sliding deadbolt was not aligned, so it would not work. Anyone with a key could have gotten in at any time. I could not lock the door from the outside, either, when I left the room. There’s also not a safe in the room that I could see. I didn’t have any issues, and I put a heavy chair in front of the door when I was sleeping, for peace of mind, but just something to note.
If I ever come back to Kamala, I would stay here again.
