Dear Hotel.com,
I’m writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent hotel stay booked through your platform. Upon arrival, we discovered that a major construction project was taking place directly next to the hotel. The noise and dust levels were so severe that we were unable to use the pool area at all. To make matters worse, the hotel itself was undergoing pool renovations, closing off one of the smaller pools and adding to the disruption.
The construction site next door was extremely intimidating, with towering cranes and heavy machinery operating at great heights. It was windy during our stay, and debris from the site actually blew into the hotel premises, striking one of the guests. This was not only unsettling—it was dangerous.
I booked this trip specifically to give my mum a relaxing break, but instead we were forced to leave the hotel and seek refuge elsewhere. Had I been informed of the construction in advance, I would never have chosen this property.
I believe Hotel.com has a responsibility to disclose such significant disruptions when advertising accommodations. I am requesting a formal apology and a refund or compensation for the distress and inconve
