My recent stay at The Tess Atlanta was extremely disappointing. My confirmed Expedia rate of $675.35 was increased at check-in, and with unexplained incidentals I was charged over $1,200. I was also billed an extra night after leaving, and I am still waiting for my refund.
I traveled with certified service dogs and was repeatedly approached by security claiming noise, even though they were silent (I have room cameras). The property manager never addressed or apologized for the situation. I was placed in a noisy room by the gym and dumpster, and experienced additional issues with valet and checkout staff, including attempted extra charges.
I do want to acknowledge Francisco (bellman), Shawn, Katie, Kevin, Anthony, and the early-morning valet team for outstanding service.
