Nice aesthetics in photos, but comfort, cleanliness, and basic hospitality were consistently lacking.
The room looks modern, but the layout is awkward and impractical. It’s long and narrow, with the bed boxed in against a wall and a closet door opening directly beside the bed. There were no nightstands or bedside lighting, just a mini fridge awkwardly placed next to the bed and a single switch controlling overhead lights on one side.
The bed was extremely firm, and the sheets appeared to be synthetic. Although the room itself stayed cool with the air conditioning running, being under the covers was uncomfortably warm.
The bathroom had multiple issues. There were visible scratches or burn marks on the shelving, used soap left in the shower, and a dirty towel. The bathroom exhaust fan did not appear to work, which was evident from steam streaks on the walls upon arrival. A full-length mirror was positioned directly in front of the toilet, which felt uncomfortable and unnecessary.
Check-in was frustrating. There was no one at the front desk, and contact required texting a number and waiting without acknowledgment before someone eventually appeared. Access required multiple door codes just to enter the building and the room, which felt disorganized and impersonal.
While outside street noise was minimal, hallway noise carried easily and you could hear people walking past the room.
I stayed because it was a single-night and there was no practical way to address these issues.
