The room was exactly as described in previous reviews months ago. I had hoped those issues would have been addressed by now but unfortunately, they were not.
On our last day, we discovered the source of the persistent foul odor in the bathroom, bedroom, and hallway. The toilet was not properly installed and attached to the sewer line. When I lightly pushed it, it lifted off the floor. The smell was overwhelming and clearly a serious health and safety concern.
Cleanliness was also a major issue. The couch and floors were still stained, despite management previously stating they had been cleaned. We had to place a sheet over the couch just to feel comfortable sitting on it.
The balcony, which should have been a highlight, was disappointing. The chairs were rusted and worn. While I understand coastal conditions can cause damage, replacing outdoor chairs annually would go a long way in improving the guest experience.
The kitchen was poorly stocked only two plates were provided, and the silverware was extremely cheap and inadequate.
The towels were old, worn, and felt more like cleaning rags than something you would expect for guest use.
Upon arrival, the unit was not properly cleaned. I had to clean it myself before we could even unpack. There were no hangers provided, so I purchased some for basic use.
Management states that guests should report issues, but given that these same problems have been mentioned in prior reviews, they would have ignored me too! Go to another condo!!
