I don’t often write reviews, but in this case, I feel I should.
Positives:
The staff were very helpful, and housekeeping was outstanding—honestly, the best ironed shirt I’ve ever received at a hotel. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the plaza and right on Aldama. The gym and spa were excellent; my wife especially loved her facial.
Negatives:
Unfortunately, the first coffee we received somehow had what seemed to be an acid-based cleaner in it, which burned my wife’s throat. That really shook our trust in the breakfast service, which was already pretty minimal to begin with. The pool is small, with very few seats, and it wasn’t well maintained—we noticed debris floating in the water. The rooms are quite tight in terms of space, though very clean.
