This is a copy of the e-mail I sent the property:
I am writing regarding all of the problems we had with our stay. I'm sure you were informed regarding housekeeping issues upon check-in. There was food in different parts of the room (as if no vacuuming was done), hair in both tubs (regular, and jetted), on toilet lid, towels were tossed, just thrown, everything very unorganized. Also, dogs barking in 228, right across the hall, late into the evening. Then, we noticed how extremely cold it was in our room upon check-in. We couldn't figure out where the cold was coming from...it wasn't until the next day, my husband figured out the window had been left open, it was absolutely freezing, no matter how high we turned on the heat.
We checked in on 12/31, and they had to re-do our room on 01/01, and we had to leave the room in order for that to happen, when we just wanted to relax.
On the evening of 01/01, we went to use the jetted tub for the 1st time, and it was not working. We were not able to use it until the night of 01/02, finally, once they sent maintenance to fix it.
On 01/03, we were awakened at 9:45 a.m. to heavy pounding , hammering right over our heads. I called the front desk, and Jasmine didn't know what I was talking about. After asking twice she finally said there are renovations going on on the 3rd floor.
We were never notified we should expect any of that, and on a Saturday for them to be working, and that early??? My husband had an earache, and I had a heada
