Last time I'll stay here
From the very start, it was obvious that the front desk staff at the Flamingo Motel DO NOT like Hotels.com. I had requested a 3rd or 4th floor several times prior to my visit and was ultimately told it would not happen since I booked the trip through Hotels.com. Today when I checked out, the man said he would not print a receipt because I'd receive one by email from Hotels.com. (Last year there was no problem printing a receipt and I booked through Hotels.com then as well.) Another issue was that I was unable to connect to wi-fi with my laptop. The front desk staff told me it was due to an issue with MY computer. Several days later, by some miracle, the wifi worked! Apparently someone much scarier than me complained and someone on the staff turned it on. Very frustrating! One final note, there was mold on the ceiling and the plumbing was terrible.
