extreme disappointment and frustration with the treatment my family and I received at the La Quinta Denver tech center location on January 28th. Despite being a booked guest, I was met with rudeness and hostility when I asked for a small discount due to issues with the kiddy pool.
At 10:40 am on that day I was in live chat with hotel staff, having already booked our room for an extended stay. I had put my card on file and was working to finalize payment. I requested a minor discount due to the kiddy pool being unavailable and linens not being changed after being requested twice & no towels when we went swimming. I explicitly communicated to the front desk staff that we were in chat with hotel staff and were working to resolve the payment.
Instead of assistance or understanding, I was met with aggression and haste. The staff member refused to acknowledge my situation, repeatedly stating I wasn’t going to make a payment at all, Then demanded a payment for the late fee which I offered to pay the $80 late charge immediately, but was refused due to me having to pull it out of the atm.. 2 feet away in the lobby .
