I expect more from the name Hampton Inn
When I see the name Hampton Inn I feel sure that my stay will be up to snuff. Let me begin by saying that I love giving good reviews. This was the first time that I was disappointed. The staff was amazing however the condition of the hotel was not. In our room it looked like water has come threw the ceiling. The plaster had been removed and never repaired. I stared up at this 2 foot by 1 foot disgusting ceiling above my bed. The hallway rug was all rumpled right in front of our door. This building just looks and feels old. When you are paying $200+ per night, I expect the quality to match. It took 3 times to get our keys to finally work... each time returning to the front desk for assistance. After all that... we only got one key to work so my husband and I just made sure we had the working key. Also, my husband asked if room service could come a tidy the bathroom and bring more towels. However, this never happened. Maybe they tried while he was napping. Who knows. But his requst was never granted.
Let me tell you about the good stuff. The breakfast was delicious, clean and hot. With a nice selection of standard fare.The staff was very friendly.
