Lesson Learned
You get what you pay for. I wanted a place that was pet friendly that we could lay our heads. In the most basic way it fulfilled my wish. However, I cancelled my return reservation fr my drive home for the following reasons:
1. Overall the place is dingy. In the hallway on the second floor there is or was a leak in the ceiling and thereās mold or black dirt all over it.
2. The place is damp and smells.
3. I had 2 rooms and there was mold or something in the bathroom so my family would not take a shower there.
4. There was mold or black dirt in the fridges of both rooms.
5. Bed was too soft but doable for a night. If you have a very bad back and need a hard mattress Iād recommend passing:
6. Check in was annoying. I sent a note saying I needed a room in the first floor that was accessible. It was clear they never read the note or reserved the space so there was one room left but it was not accessible. I noted Iād pay for the rooms at the hote. Without asking me the person charged my card for both rooms. I requested this so my party could pay for their own. They then asked if the other person could just Venmo me. This person has no idea what Venmo is and it wasnāt worth an argument but the staff can be trained better.
7. There is no breakfast. Maybe you get toast and cereal but itās not an organized effort so donāt bank on it.
8. Thereās never anyone at the front desk. Itās a bit odd.
This place is not for me and may be perfect for someone else.

Not too bad
At first when I went there it was good, but the toilet did have a leak, and the sink and shower ended up clogging up but I mean it was nice being there. The AC was not working either. It was just hot, but other than all of those things, I think that it was an okay stay.

Very comfortable beds, large rooms with plenty of space. Wonderful air conditioning that was constant through the night.
The shower was good, decent temperature and pressure, and it was accessible.

Breakfast was not available. No sign saying they were sorry - just we havenāt received our delivery. Not even coffee available. Springs in mattress were uncomfortable.

The Front Desk Representative was friendly, efficient and prompt. However, the condition of the room was poor. The door was misaligned, which made it difficult to open and close, as well as impossible to set the security deadbolt. Also, there was no TV remote control in the room. When I inquired at the Front Desk they informed me that other customers had removed most of the remote controls and there were no more available. Since it did not appear that the hotel was sold out, I was a bit surprised that I was not offered a different room, or that they did not take a remote control from one of the other rooms and give it to me.
Moreover, in the morning the breakfast bar was non-existent. The juice machine was broken and the milk for cereal spilled all over the floor. I feel there should be some sort of compensation or partial refund because the breakfast was not as described in the hotel description.
