This hotel is right on St. Wenceslas square, so location is great! No bells and whistles, but perfectly fine for our use. Breakfast pretty good, typical European. Not overly friendly, but not rude. Good value for price. Walked everywhere!
Stayed for 2 days, close to train station to walk, hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, majority of hotel staff helpful - booking tours and directions
Good rooms and excellent location with really friendly staff.
Property is located along the main Boulevard about a 5 minute walk from the Museum (and Metro stop). This makes it convenient to use public transport to train (1 metro stop) or the A line to an easy connection with bus 119 for airport service. I believe I paid about $8 for a 24 hour pass. Also City Center and Castle just a few stops away. Room was small but had it’s own bathroom. Rating primarily reflects the comfort of the bed (very firm) and pillows (too soft) which made difficult to sleep comfortably. Otherwise no complaints. This was a last minute booking and it did the trick for one night.
The staff changed at my request the room without any problem. The breakfast was very good.
The photos of the rooms on website certainly do not depict the room we stayed in. We had a room with a double bed and single bed - beds were comfortable Enough.. We arrived late - Room was not warm , no working tv, long blonde hairs all over the dresser. There were long black hairs in the double bed. The shower had a little bit of black mould and the water temp kept changing from cold to warm during shower. Towels were tiny couldn’t wrap round my body and it was freezing getting out the shower. Hotel Is advertised as 4 star. Not a 4 star experience. I didn’t stay for breakfast so can’t comment on that. Has to pay a hotel tax on check out - wasn’t aware of any additional Charge to pay. The location of the hotel was pretty good - although went out to buy bottles 2 small cold bottles of water and was charged 160 corona (equivalent to about 5 British pounds sterling) now that was a rip off - but that’s nothing to do with the hotel. Maybe we just had a bad room in the hotel and the rest or nice - but based on my experience I wouldn’t renmend and certainly wouldn’t stay here again.
Very nice clean hotel, Great location too. My husband was very pleased with breakfast
We first got given a double bed , 2 males they soon changed it to a room what smelt of prawn, we opened the window to get rid off the and notice a big extractor fan from the chinese resurant,u have too ring the bell for them to open the gate as mentioned before. Not a 4 star 3 star at the very top if lucky, location was good wouldnt stay here again too many issues for my comfort. Breakfast was not my liking who has mixed veg for breakfast is beyound me
Really nice hotel, good location. Nice staff, allowed us to check in early too 😉
It’s a decent hotel - nothing spectacular but not dismal either. The location inside the shopping mall isn’t great - the gates to the shopping mall are locked between midnight and 6am - it’s not a big deal but as I’m a smoker and the hotel is completely non-smoking I was annoyed that I was trapped inside the hotel at night with no smoking area. The entrance to the shopping centre can be a little hard to find at first - if you find the Ramada hotel in Wenceslas Square first, the entrance to the shopping centre is just two doors up. The room was a decent size and comfortable - I wasn’t thrilled that the double bed had two single duvets on it and they’re a little tight with the supply of tea and coffee in the room, but these are only small points - the wifi is good and a good shower. The hotel is in a great area for restaurants and metro lines A & B are just a couple of minutes walk away. Breakfast is varied and often replenished - the staff are pleasant and helpful. It’s worth a stay
