A HOLIDAY NIGHTMARE: Zero Safety, No Heat, and Broken Promises
Staying at the 17th Hotel from December 25th to January 6th was the worst travel decision I have ever made.
• Freezing Conditions: Out of my 12-night stay, I spent 8 nights without any heating. I complained to administration repeatedly, and their "solution" was to move me to three different rooms. Every single room had no heat. I eventually had to go out and buy my own blankets just to survive the night.
• Major Safety Breach: For two nights in a row, a man entered my room after 10:00 PM without my consent. I woke up to find a stranger in my room. Despite reporting this terrifying security failure, the staff did absolutely nothing to address it or ensure my safety.
• Financial Dishonesty: Management promised to reimburse me for the nights without heating. Since checking out 20 days ago, they have completely disappeared and ignored all follow-ups.
This hotel has zero respect for guest safety or basic comfort. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.
