The Econo Lodge in North Vancouver was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room smelled musty, the carpet was sticky, and the furniture looked like it was rescued from a garage sale. The bathroom had mold in the corners and rust around the fixtures — definitely not the “clean and comfortable” place they advertise.
But the absolute low point was the so-called complimentary breakfast. Instead of something fresh, they keep prepackaged muffins, bagels, and yogurt sitting in a refrigerator like leftovers nobody wants. The food was cold, tasteless, and honestly looked like it had been sitting there for days. Calling that a breakfast is an insult.
Wi-Fi barely worked, walls were paper thin, and the staff didn’t seem to care at all about complaints. For what they charge, it’s a complete rip-off. Do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else in North Vancouver — this place is nothing but a disappointment.
