I enjoyed my stay. Service was excellent and the room was very comfortable. The only thing I found that needs to be improved was the strong chemical smell after the room was cleaned and it took awhile for the smell to clear. Perhaps adjusting the amount of chemicals used in the floor cleaning mixture would help

Nice hotel
The shower valve needs to be repaired, the water is literally scalding or freezing. The breakfast was good and the staff very helpful and nice.

At Check-in, front desk attempted to collect for a prepaid room. The hallways had trash on the floor. Somebody had propped open the side door with a piece of concrete. When I tried to secure the door, I found it was broken and wouldnāt close all the way. When I came back later, someone had propped it open again. The stairs leading up from the side door weāre filthy. The linen room had linens and trash on the floor. The toilet in our room was broken and had a hard time refilling.
All in all, a very unpleasant experience. Hilton should be embarrassed to have its name on this property.

The difference from last year to this year was HUGE. The cleanliness was not there, pool was under renovation, the elevator didnāt work! Breakfast last year was awesome this year not even close.

The staff were amazing. I like the idea of the Spark hotels but this one had just opened and has some things to work out.
First-they were overdoing cleaning with Fabulosa and our room stunk so bad we had to change rooms-the staff was very accommodating when changing our room.
2-towels were brand new/never washed so when you dried off with the towels you had little white fuzzies all over your body.
3-the floors looked dirty but it was just sloppy construction grout that was caked on the tile floors; as well as construction dust in the corners and under cabinets. Rooms had sloppy finishes on tile work and floors.
4-first room the AC sounded like a jet engine all night/second room AC was fine
5-first room had a nice shower with hot water/ second room had warm/cold water even after letting it run for 10 minutes. I didnāt get to take a shower on Sunday morning-water was too cold and had very, very low pressure. My husband took a quick 3 minute shower with the cold water. Second room the shower curtain was 10ā too short and the whole bathroom got wet after my husbands shower and my trying to get hot water.
6-continental breakfast was very sparse. I just stayed in a Spark in Fort Wayne 2 weeks ago and their breakfast was nice with many choices.
7-second room-stains on the white coverlet. Pillows went flat quickly. Both rooms only 1 roll of toilet paper-no back up. Only two large towels for two adults for weekend.

The property seemed new, but unfinished. There were debris everywhere. We were assigned on the ground floor but unfortunately could not lock the bold lock. The manager kept assuring us it was fine without locking it from inside. We insisted in changing a room so we could sleep without worrying about intruders. The new room was on the second floor without an elevator. There were only two sets of towels and dust on the bathroom was visible. The shower gel bottle attached on the wall was empty. The hotel obviously needs more staff to maintain it. Everything was just very chaotic. I would not recommend this hotel.
