The 3br/3ba condo was a 2br/2ba with an attached 1br/1ba hotel type room. There was plenty of room for our family (my wife and I + our oldest grandson, his wife and their baby). Overall, the condo was clean and had nice amenities like a fully equipped kitchen and a large deck with access from the living room and main bedroom. We were within about 4/10 of a mile of downtown so walkable but be prepared to walk uphill coming back. The reason for the 'good' rating vs anything higher: we didn't have hot water nor did the fireplace provide heat. The maintenance staff came to check the hot water and claimed there was a boiler down but they were going to reset it. They never came back and we never had hot water. The thought of moving everything after we had already unpacked was not enticing especially with an infant so we toughed it out. The fireplace was nice to look at but there was no heat. There was some peeling and bubbling of wallpaper in places but that's just looks. Our beds were comfortable. The Gatlinburg Town Square is an older property and needs some updating but not a bad place to stay if you have hot water. We only saw 1 set of elevators, so we had a long, winding walk to our room. The service staff was nice so that was a plus.
