My husband and I stayed here while visiting family in Boerne since the San Antonio hotels were cheaper. We arrived around 2 AM and checked in with no issues. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet.
Breakfast was simple — granola bars, prepackaged muffins and danishes, plus coffee and juice — just as other reviews mentioned. The lot shares a fence with a Wendy’s whose lobby stayed closed, so if you’re an early riser looking for a heartier breakfast, you’ll need to use their drive-thru.
I called the front desk to decline housekeeping since we’d be out for a few hours, but no one answered. We were a bit concerned about leaving our belongings, but housekeeping simply refreshed our towels and everything was left exactly as we’d left it. The only downside was some street noise from cars racing on Saturday night.
The pool looked clean, though we didn’t get to use it. It’s open 10AM-10PM.
Overall, it was a clean, quiet stay with a simple breakfast and good value for the price. Just note — the large lit-up sign doesn’t say “Blue Way Inn”; only the smaller black block letters do, so it may have been recently renamed or purchased. Just be weary we almost missed the entrance.
