I initially chose this Extended Stay America because the price was affordable and check-in was smooth. At first, the property appeared safe and suitable for a longer stay. Unfortunately, multiple service and access issues made the experience very difficult.
The room had two televisions, neither of which worked. I reported this to the front desk twice and was told maintenance would address it, but no action was taken until I personally spoke with maintenance after several additional trips to the desk.
Front desk coverage was inconsistent. On multiple occasions, the desk was unattended, requiring long waits and calls to customer service just to locate staff. The manager later stated her phone had died, which is concerning for an extended stay property.
I requested and granted a late checkout for 12:00 PM. After leaving briefly to secure additional funds, I returned around 11:30 AM and was locked out of my room. I waited over 20 minutes at the unattended desk, attempted to use the courtesy phone with no response, and had no access to my room while my cat was locked inside. When the manager arrived, the interaction felt dismissive despite the situation.
Additionally, the kitchen was not adequately equipped for an extended stay. There were no pots or pans, only one cup and one pot, which did not meet expectations.
Due to budget constraints, I will be staying again, but this location did not meet expectations for service consistency, front desk availability, or amenities
