The room was very unclean; the carpets were sticky and stained, with sunflower seeds embedded in them. The refrigerator only froze things. The bathroom was awful; the toilet didn't always flush, the shower seemed to be chalked over the nastiness before being cleaned, and had a film of grossness on the wall. The only amenity was the continental breakfast, which included bread to toast, English muffins, and one muffin and one cup of yogurt. There was a pool and fitness room, but we had no access to them; when we looked at the windows, they were filled with storage. When we checked out, we mentioned how dirty the room was and how we would have left, but we were in and out after driving 10 hours, and this being the closest hotel due to a family member on hospice and passing, his reply was that I know it needs to be cleaned, but I just don't have the time, then went back to whatever he was doing on his phone.
