The staff at this multi-property family resort are incredibly kind, professional, and responsive, with a special shout out to Kylie? (long braids) who came over to our bayside room from the main beachside office numerous times and was very helpful! I think this property is great for families, with lots of kid-friendly oversized âtopiaries,â activities, cartoony âshark artâ and outdoor space. There are grilling/picnic areas/decks, clean pools, and we saw manatees in the bay! The queen 1BR suite we stayed in was freshly painted, clean and quite large â would sleep 6 comfortably with lots of room for bags, toys, etc. â but felt a little spartan in amenities (no carpets, limited lighting fixtures, unattractive bright LEDâs). As a couple we were comfortable but it wasnât quite the level of luxury and âescapeâ that we were wanting, and we had to engage the (always-helpful) staff to contend with a string of little issues with a broken ice maker, lockouts, and TV/internet problems. Our balconies were directly on Gulf Blvd with no real view and a very bright large white sign for a defunct business next door shining into the bedroom all night (not sure how thatâs even allowed, with orange-hued âSea Turtle Lightingâ everywhere else.) I will say that even though our room was across the street, beachside access was very easy and the bay inlet was picturesque, and I think overall itâs a great place â with lots of walkable dining and a Walgreens â to stay for a few family days.
